We are proud to announce that our second player this year has earned a college scholarship to play soccer. Heather Cisneros, a defender at Edison High School here in San Antonio, TX. Heather joined our program in the summer months of 2011 of her junior year of high school into our group training camp. She has proved day in and day out that she deserves to play at a higher level due to her hard work ethic. On Sunday, March 30th Heather had an open tryout with Our Lady of the Lake University which was extremely competitive with more than 30 players. Heather impressed the coaching staff and earned an athletic scholarship to play on the team for the 2012-2013 season in the fall! I am extremely proud of her accomplishments and the others who have graduated from my program the last 2 years who have also received scholarships to play college soccer

We are proud to announce our sixth player from our Academy that has received a scholarship to play college soccer since 2009. Amber Baker-Hall has been one of the most dedicated players in our Academy. I first met Amber in December of 2010 while she was playing for a Super II team here in San Antonio. She was a raw athlete but I knew she could play at a higher level based on her strength and speed. Amber was motivated to play on a better club team so she could get seen by college coaches her senior year. She dedicated the spring and summer to advance her technical skills to enable her to play for the Lone-stars D-1 team in the fall. She was then given the opportunity to play in showcases here in Texas which allowed her to get seen in front of many schools across the country.
Amber took advantage of her situation and played well in her showcases.I am very proud of her hard work and dedication to me and my program. This story proves to every player out there that it is possible to play in college IF you put the hard work in. Amber transitioned from being a Super II player in 2010 to getting a Division 1 scholarship to Texas Southern University in less than 1 year. I am really proud of her and her efforts and I look forward to seeing her play next year in college! Click Here to see story

I have spent hours upon hours watching games and practices of certain teams here in San Antonio. One thing I have noticed is that players are so uncomfortable taking 1v1 opportunities. Teams are so focused on playing specific ways which will not allow the players to be creative and confident. We want players in our Academy to be comfortable having the ball at their feet and be aggressive making quick decisions.
This spring, we are proud to announce the new opportunities available to
all players from (7-13) years old here in San Antonio. There will be a
mix of indoor and outdoor clinics starting in February. All sessions
will focus on small sided games and drills designed to improve each
players decision making ability. We want to develop the players to be
confident playing 1vs1 and 2vs2 by learning the proper attacking and
defensive tactics. CLICK HERE to view the upcoming opportunities.
